Why You Should Ditch Average Fantasy Apps for ThriveFantasy

By: Braeden Long Draft Kings and FanDuel have an implemented plan that draws the average player to play in DFS games with high hopes of getting rich.  Sure, it’s more fun to watch sports when there’s money on the line, but how confident are you picking a perfect lineup to get dough? ThriveFantasy, unlike Draft Kings and FanDuel, is the perfect platform for the everyday fantasy player to place daily wagers confidently.  Thrive doesn’t have nearly as many users as their competitors as of yet, so it’s much easier to win money.  Don’t let fantasy platforms hook you in to enter massive contests with small bets ending in the rich getting richer.  The DFS industry is projected to be a multibillion-dollar

2019 NBA Mock Draft: Post Early Entry Withdrawal Deadline

Photo by Streeter Lecka: Getty Images By: Lucas Vargas (Twitter: @lucasvargas44) The NBA Draft takes place this week on June 20th and underclassmen have chosen whether or not to remain in the draft or return to school. This draft may not have the deep star power of other classes but there are several players that can make an impact as role players to help teams immediately. Dylan Windler and Carsen Edwards are two names that stand out to me who could go late in the first round with chances to meaningfully contribute to playoff ready teams. With franchises concluding their prospect workouts and finalizing their draft boards, here are my predictions: 1. New Orleans Pelicans: Zion Williamson, Duke Blue Devils, Age 18

2018 Top 10 Fantasy Football Running Backs

Adam Wagner - Senior Analyst: The Wagner Wire The 2018 NFL season is upon us, so that means we need to be entrenched in as much fantasy football news as possible. This installment will cover the top 10 NFL running backs for fantasy football in 2018. The list was generated based on a points per reception (PPR) league format.   #10 Leonard Fournette - JAX There were several questions regarding Leonard Fournette’s fitness and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield last season. In his rookie campaign Fournette toted the rock 268 times for 1,040 yards, crossing the goal line 9 times. He also caught 36 of his 48 targets from Blake Bortles, stacking up 302 yards receiving yards and one touchdown.

Sweet Fantasy – 69 Things I’m Thankful For

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire Thanksgiving Week is upon us so I'm switching it up a little this week. It's the time of year that we say what we are thankful for. So here are a Holiday 69 of things I'm thankful for. I'm thankful that DeAndre Hopkins is QB proof again. I'm thankful for DFS Thanksgiving slates. Because what goes better with a day full of family and eating than having some money on the line? I'm thankful for Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. I'm thankful that the Pittsburgh Steelers are giving Le'veon Bell all the carries he can handle. I'm thankful that the Chiefs are still the Chiefs I'm used to. I'm thankful that the Bills

Sweet Fantasy – 69 Things from Week 5

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire Week 5 is in the books so here are 70-1 things I took away from it. Ben Roethlisberger is playing like he did retire after last year. The only Steelers players you can start right now are Antonio Brown and Le'veon Bell. Joe Mixon is getting the carries now but his 2.8 ypc needs to improve if he is going to break out. The Bengals offense is starting to look better. AJ Green is the Elite WR nobody talks about. He is on pace for over 1600 yards receiving. Joe Flacco shouldn't be owned in many fantasy leagues. It's hard to trust any Ravens WR on any given week. Buck Allen is

The Impact of Strength of Schedule For Fantasy Football – The Difference Between DFS and Season Long

Tyler Moore - Fantasy Sports Contributor: The Wagner Wire     Fantasy Impact: Strength of Schedule   How much should you consider strength of schedule when you are drafting players for your fantasy team? If you look back just to last year the Atlanta Falcons were tied for having the hardest strength of schedule, but that didn’t stop anybody from drafting Julio Jones or Devonta Freeman. Julio Jones was actually one of the best foundations fantasy football teams could have last year. Julio came in at a staggering 20.1 percent of teams that made it all the way to their championship weekend. Pro Football Focus has the New York Giants as the top secondary for the 2017 season, but Dez Bryant, who faces the Giants

The Wagner Wire: Fantasy Football Sleepers!

Craig DeLauder - Fantasy Sports Contributor: The Wagner Wire Hello all you fantasy fanatics! I am coming to you today with my assessment on some players that could be called "sleepers". Even with all the information in today's fantasy landscape, the term sleeper has become a little antiquated. We can still label these players undervalued or under the radar. With that said, lets get to the list of some players that can make you look like the smartest person at your draft this year.   The All Under Valued Team   Eli Manning: Quarterback - New York Giants I know you're thinking, "Eli Manning!" Hear me out. Eli is almost always free in fantasy drafts. You can take him as your 2nd quarterback very late in the
