Just The Tip – DFS DraftKings Results For NFL Week 10

Degenerates, DraftKings graciously awarded me $300 for my 2nd place finish this weekend in the NFL Mini 5K Play Action Gaurantee. I played (1) $3 lineup card against 1,915 other cards, and here are my results. Here is a quick summary of the players I selected and why... Kirk Cousins/QB/Redskins I took Kirk due to his cheap price, and the fact that he was facing the AWFUL Saints defense that allowed 292 yds through the air. You Like That!   Doug Martin/RB/Bucs At a cheap price of 5,600, Martin, had a good value. Going against the Cowboys who were without LB Sean Lee and have a struggling offense, I thought it was a no-brainer. James Starks/RB/Packers Starks was easy. Great price and Eddie Lacey was inactive!! Brandin Cooks/WR/Saints Cooks has been

Just The Tip – Just Relax!

DZ - Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire Degenerates, Quite the weekend in the NFL. Big Ben, Luck, Bridgewater, and plenty more were injured this weekend. Is your FF team and personal pride on the verge of going down the toilet? Just relax....JUST THE TIP has got some info to help your struggles. Landry Jones/QB/Steelers With a few QBs on the injury report, Landry, can be a solid fill in. He is facing a struggling Browns team that has been piecing together their secondary lately. Joe Haden has missed a lot of time this season with injuries and a concussion. Even if he is able to play this week he will surely be rusty. Pair that with the Steelers playing at home, Landry getting some

Just The Tip – Players Of Interest!

Degenerates, Hello again and welcome back for another big week in FF.  Looks like Peyton acquired a dynamic tight end. Is Davis the key ingredient that completes the recipe? This week let's take a look at a few players that may spark your interest for Week 9. Heath Miller/TE/Steelers Here you have a average FF TE. This week could prove to be a little more lucrative though? With Big Ben back under center last week, Miller, led the team with 10 catches for 105 yards! This week Oakland is at Pittsburgh. The Raiders are currently the worst team in the NFL at defending the TE position. They have given up 7 TDS and almost 12 yards per catch. You may wanna give Heeeaaath a

Just The Tip – Playoff Push

DZ - Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire Degenerates, With every win and loss becoming more crucial, you need make each week and each roster move count! Now is not the time to hesitate and second guess yourself. At this juncture of the season you know what moves you need to make. You just need to get to the playoffs! Yes Jim Mora...Playoffs!   Robert Woods/WR/Bills Woods doesn't have the best QB situation. However, he has been vaulted into the #1 WR spot. Percy Harvin has battled injuries his entire career and is now contemplating retirement. Sammy Watkins....he just can't stay healthy. The Bills are on bye this week so try to pick him up as a FA. He should continue to lead the team in

Just The Tip – An Extra Tip

Degenerates, Here we are, back again for another week in the NFL. Just gonna drop a little info and maybe help get your wheels turning.   Mike Evans/WR/Bucs So far this year Evans hasn't produced near the numbers he did last year. However, Tampa is coming off a bye week and gets the Skins this week. Extra prep time from the bye should have allowed Evans and Winston to get on the same page. Not to mention...last year Evans took the Skins secondary "to the woodshed" going for 200+yards and 2 TDS Chris Boswell/K/Steelers I know, I know....a kicker? Look, I think Kickers should stick to soccer but they can play a pivotal role in your FF wins/loses. Maybe you have McMannus  on bye this week?

Just The Tip – Roster Improvement

Degenerates, As always, another big week is on the horizon. Decisions need to be made regarding your lineups and it may be time to shake things up. Take a look at these guys and look to improve your roster.   Josh McCown/QB/Browns While he isn't killing it so to speak, he has been consistent. McCown has scored over 20 points 3 weeks in a row now. The Browns haven't been bashful about letting him throw it either. He has a tough match up this week with Denver in town but he is worthy of a roster spot. Oh yeah, he still gets to play the Steelers secondary twice!   Willie Snead/WR/Saints Snead has made himself at least the #2 option in the passing game. He is seeing

Just The Tip – Catch A Waive-r

What's up Degenerates? We have got another big week ahead us. With the Bye-Weeks getting into full swing and players showing up on injury reports everywhere, gotta hit the waiver wire!     Gary Barnidge/TE/Browns I hope you guys aren't still sleeping on him? He has become a very big part of the Browns offense. He is being heavily targeted by McCown and has produced. In back to back weeks he has recorded 6 receptions and found the endzone, while totaling 180 yards.   Charles Sims/RB/Bucs While Doug Martin is doing the heavy lifting, Sims remains steady as the 3rd down back for the Bucs. Although he isn't likely to explode for you,  he can be a solid Flex play. In consecutive weeks he has put up 50+

Just The Tip – Moving On…

DZ: Fantasy Football Analyst - The Wagner Wire What's up Degenerates, Well we are 3 weeks into the NFL season and teams are starting to take shape. Most likely not all of your draft picks are panning out the way you had hoped! Plain and simple, it may be time to Move On....? Mike Wallace/Vikings Let's see....after a promising few years in Pittsburgh, Wallace took the cash and headed to Miami. A few years went by and they sent him packing to a polar opposite....Minnesota. His lack of production and notable attitude was overlooked by the Vikes and well.....same result. Same Mike Wallace production just in a different temperature. A WR getting #1 money being out played by many #3 WRs in all FF

Just The Tip – Got The Injury Bug?

DZ - Fantasy Sports Analyst: The Wagner Wire My fellow DFS Degenerates - Ouch, DAGGER, and WTF?! If you said any of those things after week 2, chances are that you lost a significant player to injury. Take a look at these players as a solid replacement to fill your void Dion Lewis-RB/Patriots Even with Blount returning from suspension, that couldn't slow down Lewis' FF production. Whether it's rushing or receiving Lewis has been getting his touches. He totaled 100+ yards including 6 receptions in week 2. Look for him to be the lead running at least for a few more weeks. Not to mention....he is playing against the Jags this week.   Travis Benjamin-WR/Browns Here is a cheaper version of Mike Wallace. Maybe more productive too?

Just The Tip – Who’s On The Rise?

Dave Zidek - Fantasy Sports Analyst: The Wagner Wire   Degenerates, Wow - what a start to the season! Week 1 handed out a handful on injuries, next man up?!?! With injuries happening all the time, a teams focal point (s) can and will change. These players could see  a large increase in action....meaning more FF points for your team. Jason Witten - Cowboys With Dez Bryant being sidelined for over a month with a foot injury look for Romo to turn to his Mr Reliable. Witten had the week 1 game winning TD. He should continue so see a increase in targets on the short and intermediate routes to keep the chains moving.   Larry Fitzgerald -Cardinals  While Fitz  isn't the beast he was a few years
