Original comment: You can't stop Deshaun Watson. You can only hope to contain him. Edit...Dear God Why??? DeShaun Watson tore his ACL in practice and is out for the season. Original comment: Will Fuller has 7 TDs on just 22 targets. Very Efficient. Edit...Glad

Top 9 Week Winners These are players that had outrageous weeks that won you the week by themselves. Several of these players could have been here multiple times. Kareem Hunt Week 1 - 148 rushing yards 5 receptions 98 receiving yards 3 total TD Amari Cooper Week 7 - 11 receptions 210 receiving yards

Sweet Fantasy – 69 Things from Week 6

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire Week 6 is in the books and here's what I learned. 69 times. The Steelers are going to get every ounce of production that they can from Le'veon Bell this year. I do not believe he will be a Steeler next year. Antonio Brown is the best WR I’ve seen since Jerry Rice. Only Amari Cooper has been a bigger bust than Martavis Bryant at the WR position. The Browns still don’t have a QB. Copy and pasted every year since 1999. Joe Flacco is tough to watch. It’s really hard to put any Ravens in your lineup right now besides their Defense. Andy Dalton is available in some leagues and should

Sweet Fantasy – 69 Things from Week 5

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire Week 5 is in the books so here are 70-1 things I took away from it. Ben Roethlisberger is playing like he did retire after last year. The only Steelers players you can start right now are Antonio Brown and Le'veon Bell. Joe Mixon is getting the carries now but his 2.8 ypc needs to improve if he is going to break out. The Bengals offense is starting to look better. AJ Green is the Elite WR nobody talks about. He is on pace for over 1600 yards receiving. Joe Flacco shouldn't be owned in many fantasy leagues. It's hard to trust any Ravens WR on any given week. Buck Allen is

Sweet Fantasy – 69 Things from Week 4

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire We are a quarter of the way through the NFL Season. Here are 69 things, thoughts, facts, and anecdotes from Week 4. Le'veon Bell's preseason is officially over. I'm still worried about Ben Roethlisberger. Martavis Bryant has been open a lot. Juju Smith-Schuster is playing more snaps. He could be in for a decent workload this week with Brown and Bryant seeing Ramsey and Bouye. Alex Collins needs to stop fumbling because he looks like the Ravens best runner by a lot. Joe Flacco earned his contract but it's hard to watch him play football right now. The Bengals Offense has looked much better since Bill Lazor took over. Joe Mixon can't

Sweet Fantasy – 69 Things from Week 2

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire It's that time for 69 again. 69 things, thoughts, musings, and anecdotes from Week 2. In honor of this column, Congrats to Gronk on career TD Number 69! Tom Brady against the Saints defense is unfair, especially to owners playing against him last week. Brandin Cooks is gonna explode one week soon but you have to start him every week and take the bad with the good. The Saints offense hasn't had that great week yet. They will probably have to wait at least one more week. Carolina's D is strong. Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense looks as good as last year. Devonta Freeman is gonna have a lot of big

Sweet Fantasy – 69 Things: Week 1

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire Your Sweet Fantasy is back and I'm bringing you 69 thoughts, facts, and musings from a mostly ugly Week 1 of fantasy football. Alex Smith has a large chip on his shoulder. Kareem Hunt is going to be a problem for opposing fantasy owners. Travis Kelce is not Gronk...he's better than him. Tom Brady will be just fine. I want to own Brandin Cooks this week in New Orleans. Chris Hogan is not a suitable replacement for Julian Edelman. The Top 5 Fantasy QBs in Week 1 were Alex Smith, Sam Bradford, Matthew Stafford, Trevor Siemian, and Derek Carr. At least 3 of them won't have a better week all year. Minnesota's

Home Road Splits and Primetime Games

Tyler Moore - Fantasy Sports Writer: The Wagner Wire   Quarterbacks and their home road splits; Plus, how they play in crucial games. Many people question if home road splits are an actual viable stat to keep in mind for fantasy football. These are professional quarterbacks we are talking about after all. Those people I would like you to meet Mr. Big Ben Roethlisberger (maybe you have heard of him?), who is the poster boy for this stat. Since 2014 Big Ben has averaged 30.1 points per game at home compared to just 17.12 points on the road. If put those numbers at a season long pace Ben at home would have 482 points, but on the road, he would have 274 points.

Sweet Fantasy 2017 – AFC West Preview

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire This is the 4th part of an 8 part series. You can find the previous installments below. AFC South AFC North AFC East Our 4th and final Division of the AFC brings us to the Wild Wild West. The West is perhaps the best division in the NFL at the moment. There are a few high powered offenses and a few stout defenses and plenty of intriguing Fantasy Studs and sleepers. Some players and teams have changed places, old fantasy favorites have unretired to come home. Let's get it on!   Denver Broncos Just a few short years ago Peyton Manning helped make virtually every member of the Broncos offense a fantasy stud, even Knowshon Moreno. Peyton is gone

Sweet Fantasy 2017 – AFC South Preview

Chris Sweet - Senior Fantasy Analyst: The Wagner Wire This is the 3rd part of an 8 part series. You can find the previous installments below. AFC North AFC East For our 3rd installment, we are heading to the AFC South. This is a division that was owned by Peyton Manning and the Colts for over a decade. When the Colts drafted Andrew Luck it seemed like they would own it for the next decade as well. Going into 2017 that is not the case. The South is as open as it has been and there is no shortage of Fantasy Football Performers. Houston Texans   It took no time for the Texans to be dealt a huge blow when Will Fuller broke his collarbone as training
