When our country celebrates our independence each year on July 4th, we will most likely consume a glizzy or cheeseburger. Personally, I will eat both. I usually bypass the fruit and other distractions on the sides table and focus specifically on the hotdogs and burgers. I like to live by the rule of two; two glizzies and two cheeseburgers. This is always the goal or mission going into the holiday. Of course, I’m also consuming Major League Baseball and highlights of Joey Chestnut from the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest. Fox Sports provided the line: Joey Chestnut: -4000 (bet $10 to win $10.25 total). That’s America in a bun; baseball, hot dogs, burgers and competition. The cheeseburger is a staple of
Fresh Baseball In Camden Yards
The Big Red Machine come to Camden Yards to start the week. The Birds could possibly drop the first two games and be forced to save the series on Wednesday. Cincinnati has been one of the hottest teams in the show, lately, racking off twelve consecutive wins before losing to Atlanta on Saturday. The Reds are (14-4) since calling up Elly De La Cruz, who is slashing .333 Avg. / 3 HRs / 10 RBIs / .989 OPS., and look to keep building on their success. This will be a fun series as both clubs can generate runs. Anthony Santander leads the Orioles in Home Runs (14) and RBIs (47). There will be fresh baseball in Camden Yards. Baltimore went to
Predator Versus Prey
I thought it would be a great idea for people that are either new to the game or that are interested in the synergies of legends, that viewing the game from this perspective would perhaps provide some insight on how abilities effect gameplay from an old Apex professional (This is very much not a brag thing, but a more so experience thing. I am an old man in the gaming scene. I am very washed. Please don't look at my flatline sprays, they are horrendous). If people are interested in talking about counters to legends, that can be a whole other conversation because there is a lot to unpack there. There is also something to be said that not every

TWW: Tip Of The Week – April 25
It’s the Tip Of The Week (TOTW) and we’re looking for the best value for NBA daily fantasy in the NBA Playoffs. Key value plays for me this week are Jordan Clarkson, Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic for the Jazz. Clarkson is currently $4,700 on DraftKings and he’s averaging 26 fantasy points per game. He’ll get you your x5 value. Mike Conley is currently priced at $5,400 and averages 28.7 fantasy points per game. Conley has a ceiling of 48 fantasy points. Also, we’re keeping the band together (stacking) with Bojan Bogdanovic. Bogdanovic has a ceiling of 50 fantasy points. The Jazz are in a tough series with Dallas, but have tremendous fantasy value. My "must have" this week is Jason Tatum
Favorite Five WrestleMania Shows
Professional wrestling is fascinating to me. While bemoaned by many, pro wrestling surprisingly has had multiple boom periods. Professional wrestling helped usher in the early television era (think DuMont Network) thanks to performers like Gorgeous George. The two other times professional wrestling was pop culture chic, it was Vince McMahon at the helm. Most recently, was the period that is refereed to as “The Attitude Era”. Those in their 30s-40s fondly remember the era that birthed legends: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, “The Rock”, “D-Generation X” (of course what Eric Bichoff did with WCW and the success of the nWo). Similar to NASCAR during the same time period, pro wrestling was a television ratings and ad revenue darling. However, before the heights
USA vs. Mexico & CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying
Here we are. It is the final stretch of World Cup Qualifying with nothing truly decided. The only thing for sure is that there will be a team from CONCACAF deserving of a Finals appearance who will narrowly miss out. Being a USMNT fan, I speak from memory of the Trinidad & Tobago 2018 debacle. While results have been promising for the red, white, & blue this go around, faltering at the finish line is unacceptable. Hopefully it will not come to needing a result in the final qualifier to get through. But all the teams that are still eligible for a trip to Qatar are stressing. The reality is that in CONCACAF anything can happen. Canada vs. Costa Rica While I
The Wild, Wild AFC West
The 2022 NFL offseason has been wild. One could argue that this has been the craziest NFL offseason ever. Trades and free agent acquisitions have turned the AFC West into an arms race. Which teams are making the right deals? Let's dive into the wild, wild AFC West. Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos got the party started by acquiring Russell Wilson from Seattle, in exchange for their future, or so it seems. Denver traded away QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant, DL Shelby Harris, and draft capitol consisting of two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a fifth-round pick. That’s quite a haul for Wilson. Was it worth it? Los Angeles Chargers The Los Angeles Chargers acquired Khalil Mack from the Chicago Bears for
