What going on fantasy champs? We have a great lineup for you today. We’re taking pitchers that will not bust your budget. With MLB hitters struggling to make contact, we feel the pitchers have the advantage.
P – Shields is looking tough tonight in San Diego, hurling at the Astros. He is priced at $8,100. Feel free to take David Price at $11,000 if you don’t want any other points coming from your lineup.
C – Norris keeps proving me right every night. He stays in my lineup at $2,900. He is seeing the ball well and hitting at every opportunity. He stays hot in this Padre lineup.
1B – Abreu is hitting in Camden Yards tonight against Jimenez. That right there is worth $4,100. Ubaldo has looked tough dealing 16 SO in 15.2 IP, but Abreu will crush the ball in Baltimore. Look for him to have a big night.
2B – LaMahieu continues to deliver every night. He hits in a powerful Rockies’ lineup that protects him well. Look for another multi-hit night from LaMahieu. Take him at $3,000
3B – Middlebrooks is living up to the potential this year that MLB scouts saw in him when he was coming up with Boston. He has been tattooing the ball. At $2,800, he provides solid hitting at low price.
SS – Castro seems to be feeling the message that Maddox might have intended. Castro has seemed to erupt since calling up Addison Russell. $3,400 is a good price for Castro while he rides this wave.
OF – Hamilton $3,700 hits in a powerful Reds lineup. He has the ability to steal 2nd and 3rd with his blazing speed. He’ll do well tonight against Jimmy Nelson.
OF – Myers $3,330 is a dangerous powerhouse batting leadoff in the Padres’ lineup. He’ll be going up against Collin McHugh, but the Padres should be able to rough McHugh up in San Diego.
OF – Cain is hitting 3rd tonight in the Royals’ lineup. He’s a dynamic player that turned in to one of MLB’s top outfielders. For $3,600, you should have this stud in your lineup.
